Made by the Van Briggle Pottery Company of Colorado Springs, CO,
this planter is finished in the Matte Ming Blue/Turquoise glaze. The
Indian Maiden is kneeling on a rock looking down into a pond. Inside
is a removable flower frog with a turtle on top. The planter measures
15 1/2" wide, 12" deep and 9 5/8" tall. The flower frog measures roughly
5 1/2" in diameter and stands 2 7/8" tall to the top of the turtle's head. Both
pieces have the Van Briggle insignia carved into the bottom. Pieces are free
of chips or cracks. Planter has water stains in the bowl, which can be cleaned
with scrubbing bubbles
